Aparna Dhir, PhD. is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Indic Studies, Institute of Advanced Sciences, Dartmouth, USA. She is an alumnus of University of Delhi and had received ‘Distinguished Alumna Award’ 2026 from Maitreyi College, University of Delhi. Holding a PhD in Sanskrit with a focus on Vedas and Indology, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work. In addition to her academic role, she serves as the Director of INADS Press and is the Honorary Secretary (Admin.), WAVES India and Associate Board Member, WAVES International fostering awareness through conferences and publications. Dr. Dhir is the author of “Yajurvediye Brahamano mein Jyotish ke Tattva” and has co-edited significant works such as ‘‘Veda-Vidyā-Śrīḥ’ - Gems of Vedic Wisdom", “Sanskrit Sanskriti Manjusha”, "Innovative Applications of Vedic Knowledge in Modern Times" and “Conflict Management in Vedic Traditions”. With over 40 published research papers, more than 30 published articles and blog posts, and numerous national and international presentations, her contributions have significantly enriched contemporary discourse on Vedic wisdom. Apart from research, Dr. Dhir keeps herself involves actively as Organising Secretary, Coordinator, Moderator, and Panelist in organizing events and taking initiatives at INADS along with her engagement as an executive editor for ‘Vedic Waves Blog’ running successfully over past 10 years.
